The Scene

Captured on the last day of summer in 2021, the sunset colors overhead could not have been any better. The same could be said, too, for their colorful reflection in the chorus of waves just below, as the ocean's symphony played out for these end of day onlookers to enjoy.

There’s something about the sea, always, that captivates. But I think especially so, when you luck out with colors like this to end the day. Seeing these onlookers taking in the tremendous scene, it is easy to imagine yourself there too, basking in the ocean’s end-of-day performance. One detail I did not notice until long after the capture: there is a bird flying directly above the sun, overhead, perfectly centered in the scene. Just luck.
