Buddha - Bhaktapur, Nepal

The Scene

This is Buddha. We met in December of 2019 when I was visiting Bhaktapur for 3-4 days,hoping to capture the essence of the ancient city, along with some of its people.

With a guide friend of mine from Nepal, we chatted with her for a good 10-20 minutes. She was 85 when we met, a kind soul willing to tell us some stories about her life. Bhaktapur is her home.

The next time I visit Nepal, I hope to find her again and give her this photo. I think it captures her essence.
