Oregon's Hood River Valley offers spectacular views of Mt Hood. What makes this particular capture so compelling for me is the confluence of winter and spring, paired with four horizontal bands of color: a foreground of full bloom tulips, leading to a row of forest green Doug Firs behind, dense white clouds, and a snow-clad Mt. Hood peaking above, under a clear blue sky.
