The Story
Life is work. But that work, oftentimes, is not without its own beauty. As if preserved in a painting, a man carries bamboo baskets filled with salt, a blue sky reflection and salt textures all around.
Salt field workers in Vietnam carry bamboo baskets, much as they might have centuries ago. This practice continues to fade. By capturing the mirror pond reflections of workers, going about their daily work, it creates an artistic scene, a mirage-like capture of a fleeting present, enduring for now.
