The Story

Vietnam is home to 54 ethnic groups. The Flower Lo Lo are among the most ornate in their dress, as their costume can take up to one year to fashion -- thanks to a hand-stitched artistry that has been passed down for many generations. The Lo Lo as a people group (comprised of Flower Lo Lo, Black Lo Lo, and other subgroups) numbered just 4,827 as of Vietnam's 2019 census.
